With their colorful striped leaves and sturdy canes, they boast an architectural form that lends itself especially well to contemporary and modern decor styles. With strappy foliage in bold stripes of dark and electric greens, these Dracaena plants look bushier, with more of a clumping appearance. They grow best in bright, indirect light, with a few hours of cool sunlight in the morning or early evening. While dracaenas tolerate low light-spaces, they display faster growth and more robust color in bright light. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry or slightly dry. You can feed once or twice a month during spring or summer with houseplant food diluted by half. Dracaenas are happy with average humidity.
