Description

Grows in a prostrate, lateral fashion, resulting in a ground-cover. Drought tolerant when established, from Africa, where it is known as "spekboom." Can be 80% of an elephant's diet. Needs well-draining soil. Water thoroughly when soil is dry, protect from frost, looks best with regular watering in hotter months.
