Agave 'Sunglow' is an absolute stunner of a sport of the stunning Agave hybrid 'Blueglow'. itself a cross of Agave attenuata and Agave ocahui. This "sunnier," variegated variant sports full-leaf streaks of yellow on either side of the blue-green midsection. The toothy edges of the foliage are broken, variable, and predominantly red. Look closely and long enough at them and one might think they're staring at a Red Rock Country tableau. Agave 'Sunglow' really shines when massed around a larger agave or succulent plant, perhaps in tandem with Agave 'Blueglow'. Another wonderful option: place the plant where it can impress and be readily admired as a focal specimen, such as near the social action of a patio.
