Description

Native to Oaxaca, Mexico, Mammillaria nejapensis becomes slightly columnar to 8" in height, branching dichotomously (each single stem begins to divide to form two stems) to form large clusters. With silvery white spines and dense wool at the areoles. Related to Mammillaria karwinskiana. Flowers are pale yellow with a reddish midstripe on each petal.

Size: To 8 inches high
Plant in porous cactus soil with excellent drainage
Provide bright light to full sun and ample airflow
Water thoroughly when soil is completely dry to the touch
