Description

Notocactus schlosseri (Parodia erubescens) is a very attractive globular cactus from South America with dense cinnamon spination and whitish areoles. Bright lemon flowers appear during late spring and summer. Less water in cold winter months.

Bloom time: Late Spring to summer
Size: To 8 inches high
Plant in porous cactus soil with adequate drainage
Provide bright light
Water thoroughly when soil is completely dry to the touch (water with caution in winter)
Hardiness: USDA Zone 10a (30-35° F)
Protect from frost
