Description
Senceio vitalis features slender foliage that stand upright, creating a finger like appearance to catch the eye. The green-gray foliage of this shrub provides a sharp contrast with other succulents in the landscape. Grows 18-24" tall, 3-5' wide.  Excellent groundcover for rock gardens and containers. Can be grown as a houseplant if given consistent bright light. Senecio requires porous soil, with excellent drainage. Water when soil is dry. This plant requires full sun and ample air flow. A member of the Aster family, this species is native to the eastern Cape of South Africa. Dormant in Summer. Protect from frost.
